For anyone over about 35, Kodachrome is the comfort food of film. Who can see this picture and not remember reading National Geographic as a kid, and marveling over the pictures? No wonder that stuff goes for $15 a (5 years expired) roll on Ebay.

of an abstract painting that was shown to a group of art critics. The critics were enraptured by the painting, going on and on about the artist's unique vision, his use of color, his minimalist approach, his willingness to throw out all the old conventions and create something bold and fresh. It turns out that the "artist" was a horse who'd had a paintbrush tied to his tail, and an easel strategically positioned near his rear.
Of course, that doesn't necessarily mean the painting was bad.

First, this is a great picture. Her expression, the clever use of color to reinforce the tone of reflection and sadness -- really well done. But are those cloning marks on her left cheek? It looks like a clone or perhaps healing that was overdone a tad, and should be correctible in what I think is an otherwise super job.
You've been warned, dude.
