It's fine now. I didn't realize that the focus mode selector had

switched from "S" to "M". I must have done this inadvertently. I'll pay attention to it in the future. Thanks for your attempts to help, Michael and Hans.

My 85mm AF lens won't focus on my new D200. It's been working fine over the last

several days since I've had the camera, but now I can't get it to focus when I

push the shutter halfway. Anyone have any idea what the problem might be?

I saw an ad in this morning's Daily Herald (elgin area) for a photo assistant with digital photography experience. You could check the newspaper ads to find it.

I want to buy a lens hood for my 80 2.8 lens, but don't know how to

determine the lens size. It's a chrome lens, in case that matters,

serial #1090658. When I went to KEH this afternoon, they show 2

sizes: 42 and 48. Wonder which one would be right. If anyone can help

me with this, I'd sure appreciate it.
