The material we shot inside didn't do much for me. It was just typical workout stuff. It was a windy overcast day, so we headed for the beach to see what we could come up with. This was the shot the gym used for a new poster. It does look more like a fashion shot, but it worked!

Yes, I used just a touch of fill flash. This was part of a shoot for the restaurant in the background. The model wanted to do some shots that had a more "dark" tone, so I used one fill to the left of the camera and it worked! The restaurant in the background is the Strawberry Mansion in Melbourne, Florida....some of the best breakfasts I've ever tasted!

Thanks for the comments,
Good eye on the ear-rings...she did take all her jewelry off later when she took the board out....changed into a one-piece suit too!
The surf shop LOVED the images we shot together...not so much my talent, I just recorded a superior model doing her thing!

You guys are right....the dolphin didn't work out quite like I wanted. Unfortunately, I was shooting with a "slow" lens and was already as wide open as possible.
On the positive side, she used several shots from the shoot including this one to land a contract with a local retail outlet.
As always, all comments are much appreciated. That's how we all grow and develop our skills.

Very well done! Good use of the "one-color-color" philosophy.

We just happened on this old dry fountain at a local hotel as we
traveled to a shooting location.

Confusing photo. Hard to tell what the center of attention should be.

Thanks for the comment David. That's one thing I lilke about getting out of the studio.
I'll be posting more of this couple when I get the chance.

Thanks for the comment Doug....
These two are out of the Ford Agency in NYC, down in Melbourne on vacation.
She was trying for a "sultry" look, and came pretty close...
I'll post more of her later with a more "upbeat" expression.
