Bellissimo. Val Ferret?
-
Another photoshop overlap of several exposures of the same take.
Advice is welcome

this picture is a perfect catch. either extreme luck or extreme patience. either way it is a masterpiece. in between ngs and terminator.

intensely evocative like the rest of your work. admirable. thank you, humbly.

rare shot, taken from the car. the snow does not last that long on
trees
-
thank you. you are right it is a bid odd, likely because of a lense flare plus an artifact on the procedure i described above

This is my yearly exercise with still life. I have used with this one
(as in others) a trick. With a tripod I take several different
pictures changing the lighting direction and intensity each time. I
then mount all pictures as separate layers in photoshops and erase
parts in which the lighting I do not like, leaving underneath the
parts I like in the the underlying layer and so on down to the last
layer(usually 4 or 5). The effect is like having multiple lights
instead of only one or two. It obviously only works with still life.
Please comment on this one

please enjoy, if you will

flowers are an easy shot I know, they are beautiful whether you shoot
them or not, but this one had peculiar creases, so I thought you
might find it original...

You have caught two interestting and contrasting patterns:
sharp brown dots vs green, light lines. it is a nice composition. I would have liked more of the green in the frame, but i am not sure such a shot was possible
-
nice child, my son nick said.

I was very lucky with this shot as it captured in one shot the
intensity of my son and the humor of my daughter, in an interesting
frame. Lighting is wanting, as the opportunity needed to be caught,
without waiting for more sunshine...

Please advise

Thank you all for your comments. I have debated much on the foreground. I kind of liked the theme of the purple on this side of the shore recalling the opposite and that's why I finally decided to keep this version. I had another one without, which on my minde looked flatter without the close flower.
thank you all

while being no pro, I find the lighting in this otherwise beautiful picture could be improved. It is a bits harsh and monodirectional, basically overexposing the hand which in turn immediately captures the attention. softer light and the addition of a source coming a bit from the left of the subject would have been my choice
