Nice Robin! The top head seems aware of the camera, making the picture riveting. Well done.

If you had simply mis-focused, you would expect to see an area of sharpness somewhere. It looks like motion blur to me.
What was your shutter speed?

Thanks for the nice words Christopher. That baby Robin flew right up to my porch while I was drinking coffee. The nest
was next to my back door, so I guess it got used to my presence.
The 100mm f3.5 Canon seems equally as small as the Leica 90mm f2.8 Tele-Elmarit "thin," and it may be more resistant
to flare. Both are great lenses for their size, so easy to carry.

Peter makes a good suggestion with a used micro 4/3rds camera, look for an Olympus Pen EP or EPL series camera, or
a Panasonic G3, 5, 6. All will be inexpensive and do both stills and video quite well.

I think Brian's idea is good, a black industrial-sized sharpie will darken it down, and is reversible. Or, black photo tape, similar to blue painter's masking tape.

Leica Model II and Sony A7ii: Sizes compared.

Hi John,
I use a Yeenon close-focus adapter on an A7s and have not seen any vignetting with any Leica lens that I own. (28mm Elmarit, 50mm 'cron, 90mm Tele-Elmarit, 135mm Tele-Elmar), nor with any Voigtlander lens.
Is your Yeenon adapter LTM or M-mount?
If M, perhaps the combo of an LTM to M to Yeenon to body is causing the issue.
