Last spring on Chicago's Magnificent Mile (Michigan Avenue) was

awash with brightly coloured tulips. Quite spectacular.

I agree with the others Alec. Really good composition and colour. But in addition, the human element is well captured in so many of your photos which I think makes them. I've long admired your work. In the Details section, I've noticed on a few of your photos you say the 50mm lens is "in reverse position". What does this mean?
