I think the framing on this is excellent. A little space in front of the snakes face makes the picture feel less claustrophobic. 7-7.

Great shot. I don't get the two-cheek criticism. I can't tell necessarily that it is two cheeks, but if it is, it is so subtle that it may even enhance the picture.

Thank you in advance for your comments.

I disagree with those that think you should crop this picture. It is the whole picture that tells the story. It is perfect as it is, and, as others have mentioned, one of the best ever on Photo.net.

I took this during a "Second Amendment Sisters" rally (a group of
women that want to legalize guns). I would appreciate your comments.

Some people that commented may not have liked this shot because it doesn't adhere to all the technical rules (e.g., the 2/3 rule, etc.). The lighting behind the bird fascinates me, however. Also, it seems incredible to have captured this image at this moment with the bird in this position and in this activity. Excellent shot.

What are your thoughts on this picture? It was one of the first I
shot with my new camera.

Thanks, Lou Ann. It is now resized.

Thoughts on this picture? I'm new at this.

Cary, how did you get so close with that lens? I use a 75-300mm on my 20D, but I still don't get this close! Excellent work!
