Made inside a firehouse during a training of a volunteer fire brigade of Zurich (which i am
part of). I was also wearing the whole equipment like the protagonists on the photo
(including breath protection) thats why i was just able to shoot out of hand without looking
through the viewfinder.
Comments are very appreciated.
Btw: The D70 works still fine after this smoke and up to 600 Degrees Celsius, it just smells a
bit like
barbecque now though...

Very nice! I like the composition and the lightining.

Snapshot made with a Sigma Fisheye Lens. Made on top of the Weissfluhgipfel at 2851
Meters above sealevel. I really like the action of the shot and the reflection in the small
snow particles in the air making this round glow around the sun.
Comments appreciated.

Thats a great shot!
And the aligator is cute. i hope you didn't step on his mother :-)

I did this shot while riding with a friend. I just said him that he should jump off the lip, and
he jumped exactly in front of the sun.
What do you think?

Thank you all for this great comments. First, yes, for the print i was cropping it from top and bottom a bit, i forgot to upload the cropped one, thanks for this suggestion anyway.
And, i didn't use a filter, the 50mm manual lens from nikon is very nice to shoot against the sun, with f 18 or something you get a nice star-effect. and it is extremely sharp. :-)

As this is my first upload, comments would be very appreciated.
This photo looks better printed on a poster though.
Thank you all, Daniel
