I'd like your opinion on this rusty crank picture. What do you think
of the shallow depth of field? Is the color balance too warm or does
it work in this case? What would you do to improve this picture? Many

Hi Pascal. I really like this composition. The leaves surrounding the chameleon give it a wild feeling. The power lines in the sky (?) less so, but they are nicely blurred, so they could be branches for all I know.
As others have pointed out, the light is harsh and it's too bad his face in the shadows. Since it's too late for fill flash, you could you play in Photoshop a bit to lighten up the shadow. At the same time, I'd like to see the image sharpened.

The Ottawa Tulip Festival is pretty hard to resist when you own a
camera. Some amazing photographers take some amazing pictures there. I
wouldn't even dream to compete with these guys. Still, I had a lot of
fun and I hope you enjoy this simple picture. Critiques are most welcome.
