Ivan wrote a critique to one of my photos just a short while ago. I thought he was being a little harsh to say that I used too much photo shoping, but he was right. When I first started using photo shop I would only use basic dodging and birning, and desaturation. If I did anything ells I felt like I would commiting a crime. The photographer I worked for at the time was really into photo shop, and after a while, I didn't listen to my consience.
As I am a student, I take a lot of photos at school. Knowing that my composition is good, there's allways one down fall. The hallway lockers, the cafateria tables. I started manipulating these photos. Maybe I shouldn't, but the background would just be to buissy otherwise. Other than that they're good photos.
I'm going to try and stay away from photo shoping. But keep in mind that it's just a different meadium.
