Thanks Michael.... please leave the picture. I'm now trying to avoid cropping my photos as I'd like a consistent format and want to work on taking the photo I want, rather than editing after. Not decided on the darkening in the background, but I suppose I did not want a straight portrait, more a portrait with context..

Yuk, no, don't sharpen it. It's good as it is, I don't think there is any detail to be found with unsharp.. Great shot - I've just been rating photos and seen at least 10 waterfall photos that should never have been uploaded. This one has so much more atmosphere.
