Jim, I think you did a fine job!!! Glad to see someone put a Graflex into serious use.
-
graflex.org has a forum just for dating Graflex camera's by serial number.
-
Very nice Gene. I've never seen that camera before.

Fantasic write-up and very encouraging to those of us who are skeptical when it comes to the value of workshops. I would like to see some example photos as a result from the workshop.

Awesome Collection!!!!

I could use them, but haven't a clue what a reasonable price would be.

That is a perfectly horrible camera. I love it!!!!!!!!

I print, then scan the prints.

I really like the high-contrast scenes. It adds to the neglected barn imagery.

David, awesome!!!! I love the blurred shot of the baby in the swing!! Keep up the good work.

Dave, not sure if you are still looking for magazines, but one of my favorites is called 'Photo Techniques' which is a bi-monthly publication with a lot of darkroom technical discussions. It does cover digital, but mostly good old fashion printing.

Thank you all for your comments.

I love that photo.

.....my son. Now that the darkroom is back in working order, I hope
to be posting other images as often as possible. I shot this in Feb
of this year, window lit using fp5+ f3.5 @ 1/30. Developed in D76
stock and toned in selenium 1-4 for 2 minutes. I have a very poor
scanner so the quality is a bit poor, but the print has fine detail.<div></div>

Todd, I find your work very inspiring!!! Please keep posting your pics.

Lester, I find that out of all the forums and all the websites, the Classic Cameras (pre-1970) Forum is the most civil and respectful of all. I think that we have already developed a trust based strictly from our love of the classics and photography. Myself...I would have no doubt that your idea would be a success and would be happy to participate. I would also like to add a note; I would love to hear about classic camera groups that get together and shoot for the love of it! I live in the Atlanta area and would love to hear from other classic camera users in the area that would like to form a group where we can swap cameras, go out and shoot events or locations and share the results with this forum.

Great job Mike. Looks like your pinhole camera works great!

The "art alone" shot is perfect just how it is!!!!!
