<p>I'm looking to purchase a fairly large Octa shaped softbox for portrait and fashion use. Currently have the Eli 27.5 Rotalux deep Octa and Profoto RFi 3.0.<br />Any other recommendation in that price range would be appreciated it.<br /><br />Thanks!</p>

<p>Some guy is selling a PF RFi 5.0 with a missing inner baffle for $210. I called PF this morning to price the replacement. Not sure if it's worth the hassle.</p>

<p>The B&H branded Impact has a 40 degree softgrid that apparently fits, according to B&H. It also is $100 less.</p>

<p>Does anyone know if this combo works. I'm interested in the PCB because of it's 40 degree grid and lower price.<br>

<p>The two look totally mismatched. The grid is 12"x36" and the softbox is 17"x24"</p>

<p>I just purchased a Profoto RFI Softbox and Impact grid for softbox combo advertised together at B&H. The problem is the grid is 12" x36" and doesn't match the softbox specs. Am I doing something wrong or was this an error on B&H's site?</p>

<p>I'm looking for some quality light stands that are strong enough, yet compact, to hold Profoto B1 monolights along with modifiers like a beauty dish or mid size softboxes. I shoot mainly location portraits. <br>

Just for reference the B1 head is close to 7-LBS in addition to a beauty dish.</p>

I've been reading on some forums that the B1/D1's can benefit from the optional glass domes when using modifiers. Is this true?<br>

Currently I own a PF Beauty dish/grid, and a 7" Grid reflector with 4-grids. Also plan on adding the PF Magnum reflector and the Elinchrom Rotadux 39" softbox.</p>
