    I've had used two angénieux zoom for 10 years with first a Nikon F (old but good resist against the action of désert in africa) and the other with a Canon A1.

    I've had the opportunity to compare to the Zoom canon SCC and a Nikkor and as i expected angénieux is colder than japenese lenses. It necessary to try the both of zoom whith out their U.V protect.

    (Today, laboratary push up color to be attractive for the customers).

    Another important point : the film that you use. in fact the Kodak is colder than the Fuji that's why it's preconised to change for each season.

    Angénieux is neutral in the color and have the capacity (or default?) to revel the photograph exposure error. It is easier to use a japenese lens.

    For the sharpness of image, angénieux is similar except for the infini, you have a very tiny lenght of stroke dépending you use the Nikon or the Canon.

    I'm very satisfied with this both zoom.
