Another attempt at this shot. What do you think? Better? I've

tried to move the sun from the centre to the right third, and have

reduced the intensity of the glare around the sun.

David, It's just a plane I'm afraid. Nothing so exciting as a rocket. I was interested in the colours and the contrast between the low level clouds catching the last of the suns rays and the higher level vapor trail from the plane that was still brightly lit.

Taken from my study window close to sunset. I like the strong, almost

storm like, look of the colour in the clouds. The way the sunlit

clouds contrast with the thin, white tame con-trail (vapor trail?)

adds to the picture's moody feel.

 

What do you think?

 

P.S. Not really a landscape, but doesn't seem to fit anywhere else either,

Beautiful. Love the colours and sense of movement, both of the water and of the seasons. I agree with the previous posts about getting more foliage into the shot.
