This is simply an eye catching image, Great shot! I love the simplicity of the subject and the shadow and sepia tone give it a certain quality I can't quite put my finger on, but I like it.

Thanks, I usually try to say something with the overall lighting I put in my images. That is very much the feeling I was wanting to evoke with this image.

This is a reshoot of an Idea I had a while ago, shot with one light
at camera right. Let me know what you think of the concept and
lighting.

At first glance i thought it was somewhere that had been abandoned...Nice shot...

Wow! How long did you expose this for? nice shot! I might tone down the foreground in PS some of the lights are slightly distracting but the bolts are amazing...

I Thought I had commented on this photo, guess not... anyway.. I love it. I think cats make for some good images and this is one of the best I've seen that really show what cats are all about.

Wow! now this is some macro! Excellent detail on the ant!
-
maybe a crop of some of the space on the left would help, overall a nice capture though.

I like the POV you have taken, it makes the hay look enormous...

I often wonder what goes through the head of a cat while they're staring out a window...

Thanks for the comments! As with many of my photos I would like to do this one again. I was using my Coolpix 2500, and I feel I could do much better with my Maxxum 5. I am buying some studio lights in late feb, I plan to reshoot almost all of the images that I did with my CoolPix. I'll post the results when I get them...

Good detail on the snake, Other backgrounds would look nice. Did you find this snake there? or is it a pet?

Awesome! You've captured some excellent detail of the flame! Keep up the good work!
