    Thank you Volker for your constructive criticism.  You are right about the location.  It was 2pm when came out of the canyon and took a break near the exit.  The light was too harsh.  The man in the image was not intentional.  He just appeared from the other side, when I exposed the film.  I may try to tone down the color.  It was shot with Pentax 67II + 45mm using Velvia 100, +1/3rd overexposed.  I live 2200 miles away from the location, but may try to shoot the scene different during my next visit. - Jyoti
