Of all the places I've been and shots I've taken I like this one the
best. I don't know why. What do you think, do you like it? Why?
Please leave a comment.
Thanks!

Would you do anything different? Cropping, colors?
Please leave a comment.
Thanks!

Done a million times I'm sure but this is my attempt.
Any comments?
Thanks!

An attempt to show the personality of Provence. Do you think it
works, does the bike work? The guy who rode it went into the little
shop.
Thank you for your time.

Taken with the Canon 10-22mm from the "Top of the Mark" in San
Francisco. It was a cold, wild, and windy day. Before the sun went
down it momentarily peeped out from beneath the clouds and I got this
shot. 20 minutes later it was thunder and lightning. Please let me
know what you think, and how to improve. --Thanks

Thanks Steve, perhaps I should have kept more to the left and had the right side closer to the point.

Hi, Thanks for looking and providing any feedback you can. I'm trying
to get better at this and could really use some pointers. This was
taken with a 20D and Canon 70-200mm f4. What do you think?
Improvements? Thanks --Peter

Took this over Memorial weekend where the weather is still bad here
in Oregon. I think that's good here though because the Crown Point
building (at top of hill on right) stands out against the dark
background. I just barely got this shot as the sun came out for just
a few minutes very late in the day. I was particulay interested in
the layering of the water, hills, and sky. I also like the bright
line of tree in the centre foreground. Columbia Gorge is a beautiful
place. Any comments? How to improve?

Travis - yes, I used just one click in a Photoshop plug-in called virtualPhotographer, this is the "Radiant" effect. I hope it's okay to mention it here -- it's totally free and you can find it at http://www.optikvervelabs.com/

This shot was taken by resting the camera on the nearer column using
the timer at 1/2 Sec F2.0. I would greatly appreciate any feedback on
how to improve it.

Excellent use of light to bring a warm tone to this "organic" shot. The blending of colors from the stairs to the wood make it film-like. Great job!

Very nice lighting with a digital camera -- the sunshine has no hotspots and the shade is not too dark. Very warm pleasing result that looks like a film shot. Did you do anything special to get such even lighting in direct sunlight?
