I love the way the greens pop against an almost monochromatic background/foreground
-
Playing around with virtualPhotographer plug-in and came up with
this. Comments?
-
Here is the URL to the virtualPhotographer plug-in.
The effect used on the Yaquina Head Lighthouse photo is from one of the additional .vph files that you can also download from the same site. The setting I used was bronzed.
This plug-in is free to use with no restrictions. Currently it is for the PC platform only but we hope to develop a Mac version sometime in the future.

I would appreciate any feedback on this image. This was processed
using the virtualPhotographer plug-in for Photoshop that a friend
and I developed.
-
I used motion blur on one image and combined it with the sharper image. The one that I blurred was not quite in focus to start with so this effect seemed to be a good bet.
-
Combined two photos that were not very exciting on their own, into
this image. What do you think?
-
I think a little time in Photoshop just straightening and cropping out the edge of the scan would be all this needs. It may also look cool as a duotone.

Was playing around in PS. What do you think?

Thanks for the kind words Erik.

Any comments on this shot? I am always eager to learn from my peers.

This would look great as a 13x19 print. Very inviting image. Makes you want to walk up and open the door.

I would love to hear your comments on this photo.

Thanks Peter,
I appreciate the feedback.

Any thoughts or criticisms welcomed.

I like this image. I think the color conversion and cropping has worked well.
-
I agree that there is a lack of dtail in the barn. I also think that warming up the image may improve it.
-
In my opinion it is a little too contrasty and saturated. I like the composition though.
-
I like this image a lot Jason. I think it is the best of your images. I love the fact that you have no clue as to where in the world it was taken. I would never have guessed Utah.
-
You have captured the character perfectly. It looks like it is thinking "Not another photographer!!"
-
Breaks the rules about looking out of the frame, but works very well. I think it wouldn't have been as strong if your subject had been facing into the frame.
-
I like this, simple but eyecatching

Here is another I would love feedback on.

Fred the friendly seagull
in Uncategorized
Posted
A friendly seagull my wife and I nicknamed Fred. I think Fred likes to
pose for photos as everyday at about the same time Fred would land on
the railing of the deck outside our hotel room. I was happy with the
framing and exposure, but would have liked a little more DOF. Any
comments?
