jk - as has been said by others if you can register it, you got lucky. adobe will answer
your question on the phone.
it's not a good sign if you didn't pay a realistic price. except for educational and
some professional purposes ps isn't discounted more than a few $. at least that is my
experience.
good luck. i hope you got a deal. - gw.

keith - i agree. i really like adam friedberg's work. his style is very different to kim's style. -

i am a professional photographer who shoots regularly for major magazines, advertising
clients, movie studios, television networks, etc. i have pics in the permanent collection of
moma. i believe many folks concentrate too much on technique and take lousy pics.
martin's contribution seems to support my statement about appreciation being subjective,
rather than negating it.
"and so it goes". - gw.

i disagree with ellis vener. i think the pics are very nice. if you like them, that is what
counts. i believe appreciation of photography is very subjective. it's a matter of personal
taste.
by the way, i viewed the pics on a mac. - gw.

george - it looks very blue and dense on my monitor also. - gw.

Derek,
In the US, Amex doubles the manufacturer's warranty. Many
VISA and MC's do the same. I don't know if that is so in the
UK.
I had the shutter replaced on a 10D, a couple of months back.
Canon in Irvine repaired the camera properly and promptly.
Amex reimbursed me right away.
If your purchase was made using a credit card, there's a
chance that you can get rimbursed for the repair.
Good luck.
