Diffusion makes all the difference.I see other scores that are higher for macros with harsh lighting,too much contrast, this says a lot about the judges in here. I guess you have to do this kind of photography to appreciate it.

Natural lighting?

outstanding !!

No masterpiece but the challage here was to capture the depth of

field (all in focus)of this 1/4 inch spider egg cluster. Special

software combining 25 images into one.

Your thoughts are appreciated.

Did'nt have to crop it. It's the high numarical aperatures and apochromatic corrections that give you the results. Staging and LED diffused lighting also played a role.

I detect a cultrual difference but that common denominator " curiousity" a great moment captured, I really like this one.

It's a pleasure to find these moments with camera in hand.
