I don't know if it was your intention, but when I saw your picture, my first impression was that of an abstract eye with out of control lashes. Regardless of your intent, a very nice picture.

Thanks for your comments Robert and Jaydee. I did take your advice and cropped closer to the ears, eliminating the out of focus body. Good advice, the cropped picture really focuses on Missy's 'look'.

I know .... I know.... another dog picture! I took this picture at

our local dog-run. I have been told, (and I kind of agree) that the

dog's expression has a human-like quality. Agree or disagree?

One word: outstanding. It is a still picture but it conveys a really good sense of motion.

I think I know what you mean, but, cutting out the goose on the left would change the story the picture is trying to convey (dad looking over his family). However, I did the modifications you mentioned and it definitely changes the focus of the picture (pun intended).

Outstanding composition. Just one other comment. The colors have a water color feel to them. Personally I think it works great, just wondering if you adjusted saturation or used a specific filter to get this effect.
