Will this type of photo acceptable for portraits category? Please

comment on the lighting.

The photo was taken using Canon powershot S400, manual mode, no

flash, about 3feet from the subject with +1/3 exp, ASA 100 in a

shaded place.

Please bear with me I'm a novice. Thank you...
