I recently bought an Olympus 400 Stylus and though I like it, I have

had a problem I am hoping someone can explain. In September, a thin

shadow showed up diagonally across a dozen or more pictures. Then it

seemed to go away. Then in November, while on vacation, it

reappeared on about the first 30 or so pictures then faded out. It

hasn't reoccurred since, but I'd like to know what caused it so as to

avoid it in the future. You can see what the shadow looks like if

Anybody know what might have caused this and what I can do to ensure

it doesn't happen again? Thanks.
