you really can't get a bad shot of this lake...the clouds and reflecting light are especially nice though
-
the shot itself is interesting and the figure is intriguing but i think it would be even more powerful if it was more in focus and had more contrast between the black and white elements...also the foot and top of the head are cut off...i do like that he is looking in the camera...good job!

very ethereal...nice soft lighting and great focus...feels like something magical is going to happen--emily

this is a haunting and somewhat depressing image and it caught my attention...i love the grittiness of the setting and the almost putrid color of the wall--emily
-
very candid photo...i like it!

Thank you for your kind critique, Herb, unfortunately my initial shot did not include the woman at all. As I was going to snap the picture she just walked in front of me and this was the result. I agree with the balance issue and if I was more of an expert at photoshop I would try it. Alas I am not. Thank you again! --Cheers

Herb--you have a great eye for capturing candid 'street' moments... i also love your use of color and shadow and symmetry...great work---Emily

any constructive critiques are appreciated...should i have pulled
back more? how is the color? etc.

i really like the fact that you picked an interesting and unconventional angle for the shot...i also like the detail and clarity
-
great job, this photo definitely caught my eye
i like the sepia-esque tone and where you set your focus
-
this one is really very good
the framing is a nice touch as well :)

it's a great shot and a beautiful scene
unfortunately it comes up as somewhat pixelated on my computer :(
also i kind of liked it when you had it a little smaller before
you are so talented though and have quite an eye :)

i think this a very refreshing shot of the ole girl
-
very original concept and quite a talented foot
-
what a creepy and disturbing image...you definitely caught my eye with this one
-
very stimulating composition...i like it
-
it's definitely an interesting subject but i think it would have been even stronger if you cropped off the top left bit so that the pattern takes up the whole photo imho
-
very good but you may want to size it down a bit
-
good coloring...very crisp
