I occasionally hire models to fill a job need. I have an "emotion"

series that needs to be done and my mother happened to pass away in

the middle of it. She was my best friend whom I spoke with each day.

She was the one who always critiqued my work and encouraged me. She

passed very young and unexpectidly. When going to shoot more photos

for my series, I decided to do a few of myself since I am the saddest

person I know right now.

Louisiana is a place where you should always take your camera. You

never know what kind of sky or scene you will come upon. This was

just before dusk. Upside down it looks like a raging river.

I am new to photography. I am an artist first. I see art in many

things and incorporate that into the photos I take.
