it's abstract, genius. :P

"daaaaaaaamn"
does the job i think. that is one great looking photo.
-
blown highlights and negative space.
good job.
nice lines too. would make a good drawing.
-
interesting. not my style at all, but props for the originality there. the colors work really well.
-
very classical good landscapy-type picture. like the sky. looks infrared?
there's a distracting tree cut off on the right side. cropping would mess with the composition, i'd suggest photoshopping it out.
-
that is some great lighting.
potentially boring subject matter. i suggest either straightening that vertical, or making look obviously skewed, and cutting of the right side after the window in the center. this would balance the image nicely, and get rid of the distracting emptiness.

and interesting and original take on flowers. good job.

interesting. cutting the car off at the right (opposite of direction of motion) provides a good sense of movement because it focres the eye bacwards. i like the way it's metered too.

negative space is good. repition works, and the angle provides good distribution. it could stand to be a little bighter i think, but i'm biased towards light things apparently.

the pose is great, and the lighting. i like the effect of the wind in the hair. the piece of fabric is both a tasteful and elegant choice here. i'm not sure i like the repeated image of her face. is that some kind of filter, or done in photoshop?

hey kat. you know i love your stuff. good job as usual. very carsonesque.

still working on getting a good print from this. i've printed it
more than a dozen times in the darkroom, dodging and burning
everytime and mess it up. haven't gotten a single result that looks
like the digital file, or that i am terribly proud of. a few
moderate successes though.
i'm contact-printing from a makeshift negative, printed on a
transparency. needs a little refinement because of the difference in
tones that transparency and fiber-based paper take...
suggestions, critiques?
Lone Tree.
