It is not the skin displayed that attracted me and compelled me to leave a lengthly comment - it was the eomtional display - that is what I would love to see more of. You have a knack for displaying strong emotions and I hope you expore that more and incorporate it in future photos - nudes or not. It is a fantastic image because of the emotional display - well at least in my opinion. -
This is a beautiful photo, I look at this and wonder what she is fantasizing about. The sensual nature and pose implies a fantasy that is very intense and perhaps sexual. The expression on her face implies that she is enjoying the fantasy - this image really draws the viewer in to wonder and interpret. A very powerful and emotional image that is more than a "sexy" shot of a beautiful woman - this truly is one of my favorites. As far as the crop, I have been there, you get into the shoot so much with the excitement - especially when the shoot is going fantastic so you loose sight of the little things to get such a great photo - did that recently myself, cut off a models fingers but like you, I felt the photo was too good. Sometimes the message is more important than the technical details. Excellent work Natasha! This photo make me feel emotions. I hope there is more like this.

This is still a great image - it is the mood that is created, that is why you are shooting with a Holga to begin with.
Natasha, never worry about ratings, I received my share of 1/1's from stupid people who apparently think it is funny and never have any photos in their portfolios. Concentrate on the comments people leave you, that is more meaningful than any number someone can click on.
I do agree with you in essence, by what criteria are people judging your photos which are obviously of an artistic nature when all they shoot are landscapes or macro or flowers or worse, all their photos are snapshots.
For example, I don't like street photography, I don't like the photos, they do nothing for me except bore me - should I judge street photos when I am already prejudiced against them? Is that fair to the photographer for me to rate it?

Transending the ordinary nude to something more artistic - displaying a hint of nudity without detail. The blurred reflection in the mirror adds to the artistry of the image because the viewer knows she is naked in the mirror but there is nothing to see but what you imagine. I have followed your impressively imaginative and original work for a while but this image really impresses me. Thank you for sharing such a great image. -

A deep red filter works similar to the IR filter I use - a Hoya RM-72 which is a very deep red so it gets IR and near-IR as opposed to the more expensive black IR filters. You know it's IR by the white vegetation and the black sky when the sun is behind you. Good job.

Yes, I do prefer this one over the other one. they both use railing effectively to lead the eye but this one is more dramatic. The only problem is that while the composition leads the eye to the center, there is nothing to see - put your sister at the top (or anyone else) and then you have something interesting to lead the eyes to.

I usually hate pet photos but this doesn't qualify as one. This is a portrait of a subject who happens to be a dog. Excellent lighting and compostion. I love how you captured the eyes. The mark of a good portrait is how well you capture the "personality" of the subject and this you did very well.

Great photo and tonal range. Yes, I also thought it was infrared because of the very dark sky. -
I like the detyail you kept in the white dress and shirt. Lighting on the faces seems a little flat. You used a flash for this - maybe a slight curves tweaking in Photoshop? Overall, a nice photo. -
