1.
Testing or better yet looking for a replacement for my D700.<img src="/nikon-camera-forum/<a%20href="http:/s1023.photobucket.com/user/cgrabow2420/media/Facebook/trains/11898684_156314048039674_8129664325917274709_n.jpg.html"%20target="_blank"><img%20src="http:/i1023.photobucket.com/albums/af360/cgrabow2420/Facebook/trains/11898684_156314048039674_8129664325917274709_n.jpg"%20border="0"%20alt="PNC%20Park%20from%20Mt%20Washington%208-29-2015%20Testing%20a%20rented%20Nikon%20D750%20with%20300mm%20lens.%20Feeel%20free%20to%20c&c.jpg%20photo%2011898684_156314048039674_8129664325917274709_n.jpg"/>" alt="" />

00dTLz-558304484.jpg.43ecb10651b3a53b52abf6f8c592b4bd.jpg

I think you should take the hint from Mr. Boyle above. Buy yourself a Leicaflex SL and the 60mm Elmarit macro lens. This will give you Leica quality and a more versatile system then the Visoflex can deliver. Plus you can use the outfit without a tripod and add lenses that are very reasonable today. The only other suggestion I have is try before you buy the Viso. For more info do a google search and you should be able to find the old Leica diagram of what fits and the proper adapters need to make things work. Good Luck.

  3.
I can tell you from experience that a Visoflex is by no means a reflex camera. With the prices of film slr's going/begging for peanuts today, you are much better off buying another camera than fooling around with this contraption. The lenes that you have listed will only work in close up range. You would have to buy leica lenses that can unscrew and use them with a focus mount for that particular lens. IMHO it is not worth the effort.

If you read the whole article it states that the 49mm and the 60mm version use the same catalog number of #12537. It also clearly states that the 49mm lens was never produced for sale. Therefore it is a none factor. I went through this same process when I was looking for my hood. I found the #12543 on ebay thinking it wound fit, No such luck. I can't remember where I finally found the #12537 hood, but it took me some tome to find one.
Obviously the 849.00 is a typo it probably has more to do with the actual lens. If I were you I would call them, they do not anser emails, about the price of this #12537 hood that will fit your lens. I guarantee it.

These two hoods #12537 and the newer #12543 are identical in size ans shape. Both are designed to fit over the 60mm lens ring of the 21mm f2.8 pre ash. lens.
The #12543 has two outside spring loaded push tabs, and the lens must have a grove cut into the outer barrel in order to mount correctly.
The #12537 has two slots cut on the inside of the hood that go over the pins on the lens. Forget about the 49mm lens. I have never seen one, and my guess is that very few were ever produced.
