i didnt mind your comment, jim, but as far as i could tell, you visited my page, so you shouldve seen the portfolio's title which is SEE PRESENTATION - these dont work alon. so now i suggest you go see the presentation and put the photo into context. the critique forum was only a way to call people's attention to the portfolio, not the photo itself. it didnt work.

well well a thinking artist at last. really nice, i am overwhelmed. i find other photos of yours also interesting, but this stands out, i mean all of them stand out as one piece. -
perfect documetnrary photo, the compositin and everything is just perfect. the punctum (The punctum is more about the sudden recognition of meaning, the unexpected, it "shoots out of the photograph" like an arrow and pierces me) is definitely the way she pulls up his eyebrows. -

your asylum photos have this kind of punctum, not the subjects though, but the dummy-like figures in the background. mesmerizing. the subjects are also perfect of course. -
