i started to shoot lg format back in the 70's with a 5x7 kodak
found out about pyro from old photo books from the turn of the
century the experiens became like a religion i'm 52 and have
shared with my sons the beauty of the medium. i guess i taught
them to see before the camera format became important i have
never shot out west only the intimate landscapes of new england
years ago when walking around with a view camera people
always asked "do you shoot weddings" no they say oh your a
real photographer !

it's to bad it takes alot of good work to trust in some ones
reputation but just tell the truth it takes a while to fix a camera
don't ask for payment when you still have to wait 18 mos for your
deardoff what hurt me the most was the images i did not make
waitng for my camera and it is personal .

txp in perceptol is a good combo you can go n-2 with this also agfa
100 in pmk is great the latter has wonderful highlite seperation in
4x5 and 35mm stick with high quality materials they may cost more but
you can learn to depend on them . also agfa 100 works well with
orange and red filtration in snow and by the sea in new england.

can you mail film safely back from europe.

try a 240mm symmar -s it's large but is a great lens and you can
use it on 8x10 with some movements the color balance is
pleasing i also have found the 12 in. a little long but i shoot in
new england.
-
i had a symmar lens but the paint peeling was more than a few specks
i had purchased the lens with a lifetime warranty scnheider
repainted the lens i think it will only get worse and could add to
lens flare ,

i use a auto mechanix mirror it has a telescoping shaft and a
