I thought some photo.net patrons might enjoy this.

I hope you enjoy the photo. Comments appreciated

This is an image I am using for holiday greetings. I thought some
might enjoy it and I wish you all a peaceful year.

An inviting scene on a winter's evening
-
My wife took this photo and she doesn't believe she is a good
photographer and would be too shy to submit it herself for
comments. I think it's a wonderful view of Hong Kong and took the
liberty of submitting it for her.

Julio and Greg:
Thank you both for the praise. I'll try a different lighting next spring, when I have another husk. I was attempting to get both the husk and the shadow as major points of interest; equal but different.
-
I found this husk in the garden from last year's crop of
tomatillos. I thought someone might enjoy the shot.

Just an interesting view from a plane traveling to Chicago from
Germany. The sun was setting for the entire trip. Any comments
appreciated.

Elena:
You're right and in fact it was filterng the water. It was way too cold for me to notice the connection.

Noah an Corrine:
Thanks for the comments. You're right, it's better if the upper cloud is cropped out and it would be better with the cloud off center. Ultimately, it's nice but there's something missing.

I simply thought some of the patrons of photo.net might like an idea
of what it is like to live on one of the Great Lakes in the winter
-
I love this clould, but am somehow unhappy with the image. Any
suggestions/comments?
Thank you

An amazing sight.

I couldn't find a dune without a photographer on it, so I took this
shot
-
Any comments or thoughts appreciated.

It's spring, the doves are mating - or at least trying to. I
thought some might enjoy this shot, for humor and the great bokeh
(comprised of emerging maple leaves).
PS He was better on his next attempt.

Any comments appreciated. The first sunset free of ice. The loons,
ducks and mergansers seem to be watching.
