    Marc,

This is the kind of shot I love to look at over and over. It has a lot of interest, but not too busy... a shot I could get lost in. My fav part of this is how the center of the image is brighter... it keeps it all together if you know what I mean.

    Hey Mike!

I cant get over this image...it is fast becoming my favorite image of any landscape image I've ever seen. I think that this image should bring you some fairly large notoriety in the coming years... Congrats!

Marc, I really am biting my fist on this sweet image of yours! I've really wanted to shoot the AB for a few years. It has been just awful to see the past images with nothing but black foreground, and I've been wanting to do a mountain/reflection image like this. I think you've done an amazing job here creating a unique work of art. No nits here...just jealousy and admiration.

To me, this looks like one of your least processed images. Its a great representation of this beautiful scene and you get major kudos for an original comp or s shot to death area! Everything looks natural to my eye, except for the obvious leaf streaks in the stream (which adds another level of beauty to this shot).

    Marc,

You have made yourself famous in the online photography world, mostly with big wide bold landscapes. They were unique because they were done to perfection. Then...many others took up inspiration to imitate, flooding the sites and forums. I am really glad to see this new type of work rise up and out of you more frequently. To see nature for all it's wonders...big and small, simple and complex. Not that you haven't seen it or photographed it...but its time to show it. I simply love this type of landscape image for its uniqueness. Its a scene that many would trampse on by without stopping to visually explore or attempt to form a composition out of. Only someone who takes the time to completely see and appreciate nature can come away with an image like this one. It shows to me that you are not just after the chase...the chase of yet another grand and glorious piece of landscape porn.

This is one image that will look totally amazing in print, framed in someone's home. If we were to exchange prints sometime...this is the one I would want to explore! Its beautiful!!! (oh...and the title is just as creative and fitting!)

This was taken in an area actually called Paradise. I have no idea what

these particular falls are called...but it was beautiful and was fitting of the

area. This was actually a difficult shot to take, due to the fact that I had to

hold onto a tree limb to take this shot, else I would have likely slipped down

a 20 foot cliff. Comments and critiques appreciated as always!

Hi...thanks for the comments! This is Sparks Lake in Central Oregon. Those mountains are Broken Top on the right, and S Sister on the left. This was a single raw file, even though I shot many variations of exposures.

    Marc,

I have to say that this is one of those really special images/moments... There's so many gorgeous elements in this image, and they all work together harmoniously. The earth and the air working to gether to create what appears to be sensuous dreamy flames... Great work!

The Redwoods are a magical place. One cannot visit the area and not

feel a sense of wonder. Due to its location near the ocean, it is not

uncommon for fog to envelope the forest. That's my favorite time spent

here as it adds even more depth to these giants.
