    peacock

It's a nice composition, but I do not appreciate the contrast here. It does not do this shot justice. The peacock is considered one of the four most beautiful birds in the world, so adjusting it like this seems a very bad choice to me.

    The Head!

amazing and impressive...the subject is amazing and the composition is really nice...in fact, a little too good to be true. It is impossible to approach a fly like this and focus without having it flee (excuse the pun). While I do admire this photo, I just do not believe you could have done this without having the fly land on an adhesive surface - to which it got stuck. I imagine this is the reason you have cropped out the bottom-most features. Would it be so bad to admit the truth? I mean, it's a splendid photo, but I do not appreciate false statements. I have studied the behaviour of many insects, and this shot is clearly a captive subject.

I really like this. If this were my work, I would spend another 4/5 hours in photoshop playing around with some dodging and burning techniques to add some dynamics. But this is still excellent as it is. Oh, and, please, get rid of that ugly frame. Either do a properly sized black frame (as gives best looks for wildlife photography) or just get rid of it.

This is excellent work, congrats. Could I suggest you burn the pink and orange of the flower in PS to create more contrast, or else, rather burn the pink and the orange of the bee. And maybe increase levels overall by a bit. Good work.

    Living Desert

Using contour and texture of the desert has been done simply too many times, and this one is nothing special to me. The abstract images that can be derived from this are still too common in many photos of the same subject matter. This shot is overrated. Furthermore, I would suggest bringing out the colours more. Perhaps fake a red hue to the sand and create a much bluer sky. I believe this would make the shot a stronger composition, as you would have primary colours in contrast of each other.

This is a very fine photograph and I am most pleased by the effort and skill

behind this image. To improve: I would add a lot more saturation and increase

contrast. Or use a polarizing plugin filter for Photoshop. You have some

amazing colour combinations here - I really love the blue of the sky with the

green on the grass with the red of the ground and how the colours of the

horses overlap. My advice is to enhance this to its fullest - bring out that

colour! Thanks very much for posting this; it's quite inspiring.

    Lime

I've been playing with fruit myself in the studio for the past few months and this beats anything I've done by far. I encourage you to retake this shot with real limes. I bet a lime-growing company would buy it.
