I'm not sure whether you added the sky in, or just worked it heavily, but your masking around the shepherd needs some work on it. There is a halo of light pixels all around the top half of the shepherd, it's most noticeable on his hand and arm. Get rid of those and he'll sit against that sky better.

i like it, nice sense of atmosphere. You've manages to capture the feeling in a life drawing session, where you are studying the model, but in an abstract way.
A very nice shot.

I absolutely love it. My only reservation is the cloth behind the model that increases her silhouette, it would be better if you could have seen the curve of her back instead.

great perspective and layers here.. a really nice shot.

yes, it does. I'm not sure whether you should crop some of the bottom off, probably about a fifth of the image height i think. i've tried it and i can't make my mind up... very nice shot and very different from the usual canyon fare.

great shapes and tones. very well done.

great shot, tones and lighting are excellent the pose is well, beyond excellent. this is one of the photos that i look at and wish I had taken. 7 all the way.

Richard, sorry missed your comment, thankyou for taking the time to comment, i was hoping for nice tones with this, the tower was lit with a maglite.
Leigh. Thankyou! You might be right about teh dimensions, I had deliberatley cropped to echo the tower's dimensions. I'm slowly adding to thsi series. There will be more to see.

Great shot, very nice pattern to it and good DOF.

This is a good image, i think it works well, however I do agree with Kurt's comment regarding the lower triangle of light, it is much better if cropped so this is not there. The chin does not really bother me and i kinda like the folds in the stomach.
good stuff.

Very nice image, It works really well.

A very nice shot, great colour and composition. The use of space works well to communcaite solitude, however in this instance I dont think you have quite pulled it off. The blurred background fights for my attention. it seems to "pop" forward as though it is an object in the foreground. To me this ruins the effect of having the negative space. Is the blur from photoshop or was it done in camera? I feel that a plainer background would help the image a great deal.
Just seen your porfolio too, there is a lot of great work in there.

I like this shot, it has a good deal of texture. The only thing i can crit is the highlight on the model's right leg, it seems a little bright. That said i dont think it detracts very much, just a minor point only!
Overall this is a really nice shot.

Kevin, thanks for commenting.

Christian, thankyou. Light pollution from a town has it's use! it really drew out the forms of the clouds.
Arezou, thanks.

Beginning of a series of shots working at night. All comments are
appreciated.

wonderful shot. As for presenting, i'd have a white matte and black frame.

very nice indeed. This would work very well as a black and white image.
