I took the kids bowling yesterday and remember getting my M6 + 50mm out to take and promptly forgetting it. Pic taken with my iPhone (hangs head in shame).
Hmmm...interesting.
I had an M4P serviced by Malcolm Taylor which had exactly the same problem. I noticed
the different shutter curtains when I got it back and Malcolm said he had reversed one of
the curtains to 'counteract the inherent curl that develops over time...'
I was never sure about that, it sounds like a fairly unorthodox modification. In any case I
moved that camera on about a year ago, the smart thing to do would have been to return
it to Mr. Taylor.

You've probably seen this already Jeff, but more info on the DR here:

When I shot weddings with an M6 and M4P, nobody said anything. I think if you've got a
couple of cameras around your neck nobody says anything. Sad isn't it, judging by
appearances ? A lot of people need reassurance to be fair that their money is being well
spent. Perhaps a decoy 5" x 4" on a wooden tripod would be a good idea.

I haven't used the 20mm but I frequently use the 15mm 2.8 fisheye Sigma on my D100
with superb results, it's really an excellent lens with it's fisheye effect tamed by the 1.5x
digital factor.
However I would agree that, if you can afford it, it is better to go with the Nikon glass.

FWIW I make QT movies from iView Media Pro. You get a check box to display names
and that way when the slideshow is playing the filename appears in a little window.
The viewer can pause the movie and note the filename. You can of course make QT
movies from iPhoto, but you don't have much control over the final product.
