maybe if you hade a naked girl in there or a flower or an animal it would get better ratings. Nice use of color and camera equipment choice. Great folder. Almost dead last on orig. and ast., yet one of the most creative on the site. Good Luck and if no one else likes it "F" it.

You have a nice sense of color. It simple and direct.

Thanks Gerry. There two are not smiling because you called them Joes (jarheads hate that). If anything they might cringing because of the explosion, but believe me ther is plenty of emotion with thses two. FYI this is on the outskirts of Baghdad with RCT 1 as we moved to take the capitol. As far as only two comments, it's one more than before. Thanks again Gerry.

This is not a photo taken at the beach or around the pool. It is not a vaction snapshot or a chance capture. You had to set this shot up in advance. You had to ask her to take off her shirt. I am not going to render my opinon of this photo. I just wanted to put it into perspective for the purpose of these posts. Good or bad you created it and posted it for any to see. How would it be recieved if it was on the cover of newsweek magazine. How about the art display case at her school? Do you think she would mind? Did/does she have a choice?

Philip please expand on your comment. I am not sure what you meant by "originally ugly".

There is no reason to be sorry Richard. There are no wrong comments. Its how the photo strikes you. Maybe they should put on some tuxedos and dive fins. Thanks for the comment.

This shot is fantastic. I love the fact that it is grainy and blurred. In this digital age I am so glad to see creative and expressive shots that are done with a digital camera. Anyone who thinks this needs work is inexperienced in my opinion. Your camera is a tool to help you produce an image that you realize. Don't pixel count or view at 300% to determine the quality. It's funny that people don't criticize painters when an image is abstract or unconventional. The composition and the lighting are simple and clean. The fabric gives great texture and shape. It's sexy and strong and vulnerable and delicate at the same time. I get it. Great job.
