Flying to freedom? This bird's not getting out on its own (I've banded thousands of birds myself). If it did, it's because you stopped for a photo and of course no self-respecting bander will intentionally pull back and risk a bird escaping just to take a photo. Think about it - the risk to the bird, entailing a collision with a net, is taken in order to band the bird and gather morphological data in order to increase our scientific knowledge, indirectly helping our efforts to conserve birds. Letting the bird struggle while you shoot merely increase the chance that it will die or escape injured, without any data being gathered.
Bad form.
Mostly, though, it's just a very mediocre photograph.
