I am looking for a quick way to resize and crop multiple images in

either ps7 or fireworks

Scenario:

For a website, I need portraits to be scaled 185px x 300px from

larger images.

I want:

*The head size to be the same in each photo

*Eyes to be positioned at the same level

*I would like to keep all the images in layers in one file that I am

able to manipulate again

*Be able to cut all layers into individual images (in one click if

possible)

*Keeping the original file editable for future changes

My thought would be to have mask/window of 185x300 on top with large

images underneath in layers that can be scaled to fit the window and

head size to guides aligning eye elevation.

I was wanting to take a picture of hitting a nail with a hammer so the idea of having it done in total darkeness scared my thumb and finger

I have an effective sound activated flash mechanism (which i built out of a reed switch) which works well with a small sound amplifier

I was wondering how to trigger the camera(Digital rebel)when I

activate the flash from sound
