Hello everyone ,
Please forgive me if I have posted this in the wrong section, i'm new to these boards .
Name's Al ,48 years old. Have been into photography for about 15 years now . Particuarly interested in wildlife photography and the surreal dark side of life .
I started with an olypus compact, then to the Olypus E20, Canon 20D , the 7d and now the 5D mark 3.
Well, As soon as I looked at the 5D , if i'm honest alot of the Jargon went way over my head , but I will get there as I always do .
What i'd like to ask is - When in full manual mode , is there a setting I can have that makes the focus points function as they do while in full Auto mode .
I'm so used to this from my 7d , and until i've grasped more , i'd like to work in familiar territory .
I like to manualy set everything, but have random clusters that will search and and change position as I move around the subject . So far i've not been able to work this out , having only one focal point that i can move left, right , up or down during focusing .
Thank you, and lovely to be here . Hope to get to know you all soon
