So many photographs, and not a stereotypical lake district photo in sight. This photo is more inspiring to me than 'yet another Derwentwater/ Wastwater photograph' :)

Best in the folder. Great!

Thank you very much for the advice. This was basically the first time I've had water still enough to photograph the reflections so all the advice was very helpful. I also took some shots with my 24mm f2.8 and I'll post the scans when I'm reunited with my Coolscan IV.

Nice. What focal length and time of day was this?

Wat Arun, Thailand. Taken in 1991. Handheld with old formula
Fujichrome 400 and polariser (i was polariser crazy then...) :)

This was a gloomy drizzling day in the Lake District. I noticed a
lone duck swimming around and waited some time for it to get into
position. Feel free to rate / comment, share Lake District photo
experiences etc :)

I came across this 'obvious' photo vista in 1996, unfortunately, it
was raining so my photographs didn't turn out that well. When I
visited Lake District in 1999, I made it a point to go back to the
same place... and miraculously (for the Lake District) it wasn't
raining.
I took several shots and somehow, the one with the sheep nearly dead
centre appealed to me most.
Feel free to rate, and if you have a folder with lake district
photos, I'd love to see the photos too.
