I have an OM-1 that my teenage daughter has been using to shoot B&W

and she is pretty good. I do not want to give up this camera

permanently though, and am thinking about what to get her. I really

like the OM-1 (and so does she) but are we going to have problems

with service? I don't know how long the equipment has been out of

production. The new cameras seem so "faddish" and loaded with

electronic crap!

I've been looking at Nikon - but it's still pricey. Nikkormat might

be an option, too. Any comments would be appreciated.
