All encouraging pointers are always welcome.

Shridhar, yes I used a Hoya HMC UV, is a double coated filter and I like the quality.

Lately I've been quite interested in the unpredictable skies. Flying
quite often I always seek for the natural graphic design of water
and atmosphere. For the most part, all is the same, plain and
sometimes boring, but at certain times of the day, all is changed
and magic takes place.

I agree with others. This is an almost perfect image that would benefit from manipulation. A little tweek to enhace saturation would do the job.
I am an experienced hotair ballon entusiast and I know how is like to have an opportunity like this one. One in a million!
You perfomed very well.
Cheers!

I like the idea and how you executed it. I feel it would work better if there would be more body in the frame and the hair would flow continuosly. It would serve the purpose of the high key and the transparency.

What matters to me is that my work provides some kind of experience and I am grateful to you that share to be the case.

To all of you for your kind words. Yes, it is almost like a canvas, a result I find often in my work. Of course, this time was the result of the heavy early morning mist lifting with the rising of the sun.

In my book, this is a masterpiece. Excellent execution, great composition, is original and very enticing. I'd buy a copy!

This shooting was much fun than I anticipated. Nothing fancy, but
lost of work in the composition which came almost naturally with the
help of the window's light and the metal grid I used to create the
shadows around the subjects.

We got up rally early to catch the earliest signs of light in our HA
balloon ride. This one was one the first shots at about 900" high
and moving very slowly.
Had 2 cameras ready one with 50 ASA and the other with 100 ASA which
I coupled with a 280mm f2.8 lens. Aimed at a 60th of a second at
f5.6 very close to hipperfocal distance.
The birds were moving real fast, so I prayed they wouldn't be
blurred. This came to be one of the best images thanks for the birds
placed at the right place at the right time.

A decisive moment in which camera and man agree resulting in a perfect timing. I don't feel there is anything staged about this image but the confidence of been able to achieve a perfect framing at the right moment.
All the elements work wonderfully well in this image as it was composed at the drawing desk.
You are a good image maker. Keep up with the good work.
Is good to have intuition, isn't it?

A powerful way of showcasing the magnificence of St. Peter's that without the people, the perspective and proportion doesn't convey. A great choice of time and space. Congratulations!
Going for abstraction, more than documenting.

I've been a photographer for more than 40 years and besides a few old
attempts in the past with a macro lens, I've never really delved into this
realm. After owning a nice set of bellows and an apo lens for more than
10 years I finally unpacked my gear and started using it. I am loving it
and I find abstraction for me works well. These are my first feeble
attempts.
