I can't tell you how many "child's hand in adult's hand" pictures I've seen over the years. This one has a completely different power to it. It's not just the small vs. large that we've seen a million times before, but the anonymity of the child which pushed me toward darker thoughts: perhaps the child is dead or dying, what are the circumstances, will s/he survive?
Any image that makes you consider what is beyond the frame is worthy in my book. Thank you for sharing.
