1.
Thank you both for your response.
My husband has had his own separate account since he joined PN many years ago, so that's not the problem.
If you search within the PN site, his name appears on assorted pages of mine (where I have mentioned him, etc.) but a listing for his gallery page is not there.
I am able to locate his name under 'Member Directory', however, I must be signed in to access that information.
Thank you Jin, for recognizing that this is a problem, and for looking into it.
2.
Hi,
My husband and I have been photo.net members for many years. Recently he tried finding his gallery by typing his name in the PN search field, and could not locate it. This explains why people would tell him that they couldn't find his portfolio when he would just say go to photo.net and search Fred Pagles. Are there any suggestions to make it easier for people to find him, and possibly other members that are having the same problem?
Thank you for your help, Regina

 3.
Colin,
I just posted this question on the Adobe Forums as well, and someone suggested to hit the F key a few times to toggle between screen modes. This worked, but the gentleman that answered said that this is only a temporary fix. So when it happens again, I will try your suggestions. Thank you SO much for answering, and mentioning that this is a bug with the cursor in CS4. It only started happening for me when I upgraded my computer. Previously, on my imac (PPC Tiger) I used CS4 as well, but no problems. I am glad to know that it is not happening to JUST ME! Thanks...Regina

I just upgraded my computer from an imac PPC, Tiger OS to a MacPro, Intel, Leopard OS. I am using PS CS4. Since upgrading my computer, when I use the brush tool, the painting with the brush appears LOWER than the actual brush tool (by a few millimeters). This is driving me crazy, as I cannot accurately use the brush on anything. I have to guess where the brush will paint. This happens with both my Kensington Mouse and Wacom Tablet. I just updated my Wacom Driver (Intuos 2), again, with no luck. I did not uninstall the previous driver, however...and not sure if I should. Thank you for any help! Regina

 5.
Hi Patrick,
Thank you for your response. I just just got the new mac pro, and I am assuming the video card is up to the task, however I am at work and can't check the specs at this moment. I am almost postitive that the video card would be better than that in my 3-1/2 year old imac Power PC, which had no problems. I will check to make sure that I have the latest CS4 update when I get home, as well. It has done this on most images, but not all. Sometimes I will close the photo and re-open, and the box will be in a different location. Very frustrating.
Thank you, Patrick...I will look into your questions!
Regina

 6.
I am using Photoshop CS4 on a MacPro, Leopard OS. When I resize a photo in PS, I sometimes get a large transparent pixeled box that appears out of nowhere on my photo, obstructing my view. As I resize to other percentages, the box may disappear, but will return when I go back to the size at which it first appeared. I never had this problem on my imac PPC, using Tiger & CS4, but only since upgrading my computer to the MacPro/Leopard combo.
Anyone have this problem/know what's causing it/know how to fix it?
Thanks for your help, Regina

 7.
I am very satisfied with my Other World Computing 1 Terabyte Ministack v3 external HD. It seems to have great ventilation (fan) which keeps it very cool, unlike some other externals I own, as well as an on/off switch, which I like having. The specs are: 7200RPM 32MB Performance FW800/FW400/USB2/eSATA. The drive used is a Seagate Barracuda 7200.11. The 16MB Cache version uses a Hitachi Drive, which I don't prefer.
I also have the Seagate Desk 500MB External, but it has no ventilation and a VERY poorly designed on/off switch. It gets very hot, as well.
I use Time Machine to back up to one of my internal drives in my Mac Pro and SuperDuper! to back up to my Ministack v3.
Good luck in your endeavors,
Regina
Link to Other World Computing:
http://eshop.macsales.com/shop/ministackv3

 8.
Whether I try to delete multiple photos or a single photo from my portfolio, I get a system error, preventing me from doing so. This has been happening for a few weeks now. Every once in a while, after numerous repeated attempts, a photo will actually be deleted, but something seems very wrong. Please help if you can, thank you...Regina
