  1. How the heck do you take a good photo of a rainbow? Living in florida, I have

had quite a few good opportunities to shoot rainbows - bright, well-defined arcs

with good lighting of the surrounding landscape, but so far none of my shots has

come anywhere near capturing the scene "as I seen it".

Many of the opportunities are at early dusk with the sun behind the camera.

Any help on settings, approaches, or other tips from some of you who've been

successful shooting realistic rainbows would be greatly appreciated. I'm

shooting a Canon Digital Rebel (6 MP).

    HELP!

  2. I've just started taking "Street Shots" and eventuall would like to sell some of them - as "art" and/or as part of a Photo CD collection sold to graphic artists. As I understand it, except in cases where the subject is a crowd of people (as opposed to individuals in the crowd), I will require model releases.

I think in most cases, to be truly spontaneous and "candid" (as I think of the word), the pictures generally come out best if the subjects don't know the shot is being taken.

Does anyone have ideas on how to approach subjects to ask for their permission?<div>007dEl-16956184.jpg.555afb2db12368c5c3065129500c6c7b.jpg</div>

  3. Is there a way to force the EOS Digital Rebel to take a shot when you

are outside all "sane" parameters (lighting, speed, aperature, etc.)?

Last night I was trying to take a very low-light non-flash picture

the oter night and could not get the camera to take the shot in any

mode. I tried every setting (including full manual!).

I just bought an EOS Digital Rebel. So far, I love the camera.

    However,
