Hi
Any comments or suggestions on how I might have improved this are
welcome.

Hi
Mostly I prefer shooting macro/nature shots. This is one of my first
attempts at architecture. I was drawn by the mix of geometric shapes.
Comments on how you think it looks/hangs together or could be
improved upon would be appreciated.

Alex - I think this is a good shot. Have you tried increasing contrast and introducing 'film grain' to give it more of a 1940's look?

Hi folks, Comments and criticisms on this shot would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Hi
I shot this last May at the 'Liquid Life' whitewater festival (Held
every year near Pitlochry). It was one of a 100 or so shots that I
took to learn and improve my sports photography. Sadly - one of only
20 or so that I was happy with. What do you think?
-
Hi - this looks as though you've been doing this sort of shot for years! Excellent composition and dynamism in this. Well done!

Hi! This was shot at the Liquid Life Whitewater Festival that is
held near Pitlochry in Scotland in May each year. It is a great
photo shoot opportunity as the river is narrow and acecsible at many
interesting points with loads of Kayakers participating in numerous
events. This is at the bottom of the last fall as the river drops
into Loch Faskally. Any comments folks?

Hi! This has been the warmest (and wettest) Winter in Scotland in my
memeory (I'm 45). I usually shoot fungi like this from late August
through to the end of September. Comments and critiques for
improving upon this welcomed.

Hi
I'm keen to improve my photos of birds. Time doesn't allow me the
opportunity to wait it out 'in the field'. This was shot at a
falconry centre as the bird landed on the Falconers hand. Comments
and critiques appreciated.

Hi any comments?

Any comments on this in terms of exposure/composition? Does anyone
know what type of fungi it is?
-
What do you think?

I like it too! Especially the way the curve sweeps through the picture and the symmetry of the hills in the background. Well done!

Hi, I'm just starting to figure out photoshop as a way to convert to
black & white - any pointers on how this could be improved would be
appreciated. Thanks

Hi
One of my earlier attempts at a flower 'portrait' - taken in the
wild (outdoors) in a country park near my house. Any suggestions on
what I could have done differently that might have improved this?

Hi
I shot this looking West to the paps (hills) of Jura - an island off
the West coast of Scotland to see what my compact was capable of.
What do you think of the composition and lighting?

Hi
Took this after a Spring shower in my local wood. Any comments on
how I could improve it in terms of composition, exposure etc. Your
views are appreciated. Thanks

Hi, this is a more tightly cropped version of an earlier post. What
do you think of the effect/composition? Thanks
