A shot lending a human expression to people ancient times. The
photo was unfortunately quick and dirty but I'm at a point where I'm
concentrating more on what I'm shooting than how I'm shooting. Does
this face from ancient Egypt speak to you as well? Thanks for
sharing your thoughts.

I like the texture/grain of the water surface.

This shot looks much better in print, as the individual barbs on the
fence are very clear. I like the textures, but what do you think?
A bit hard to see onscreen, I admit. Thanks for your opinions.

Working on eliminating unnecessary elements in my composition. I
love the textures and angles on these old cars so here's an example
of what I'm shooting. Thanks for your comments/suggestions!

I would love comments; in retrospect it feels a bit 'stockish' but I
hope it conveys the grand feel of the cathedral.

Correction- *Her* nose kept in some. His profile is very cool as is.

I would have liked to see the noses kept within the frame of the cheekbones, although some may argue that their prominent noses add a rural quality to the image. Also, perhaps crop out some of the cans on the right to consolidate the subjects and eliminate some weight and clutter. Lots of good textures!

After working through dozens of typical technical difficulties in
the field and in the darkroom, here's my first relatively smooth
negative. Thanks for your comments/suggestions.

Very nice!

My grandmother recently passed away and my aunt had this photo
framed at her memorial. Something about it is captivating.

We captured an image of the same guy, and we live in different parts of the world. How interesting! I like yours better... nice interpretation.

I took this on my family vacation, couldn't resist the wall textures
and the nifty Vespa ;)
