Marmalade hoverfly on Leycesteria formosa.
Taken with a reversed 50mm lens.

Wonderful details! Lovely image!
As a former beekeeper I love these images of honeybees.Ben

Both brave and difficult to be your own model. I love the result but I think that cropping the image, to make the lower square in the door disappear, gives an even better result. At least that's how it looks to me when I scroll down a little bit.
And by the way, I like your other photographs too.
Best regards, Ben -
Congratulations, great picture! Wonderful DOF.

Lovely shot with a very nice mirror image in the windowpanes.

Hi Ruud,
According to their faces the picture is more fun than the shopping was.

Hi Jim and Philip Carlo,
Thanks for your comments. Nice to hear other people too feel a certain emotion when they look at a wheelchair 'parked' like this.

Wonderful atmosphere!

The light, the shades, the beams and the model, it all fits very, very well!

This really is extremely beautiful.

Fine picture. Nice to see how the portrayed people are focusing in all kinds of directions.

Excellent picture. Funny to see that something draws their attention.
Great catch!!

Congratulations, I think this is just a beautiful picture. I would be proud if this was mine.

Great capture and good DOF.

Maybe the road shouldn't run to the heart of the picture. But that's just a minor remark. I like the atmosphere the picture is breathing.

I think the buildings in the background don't add anything to the picture. Cropping the top and a small part on the left draws more attention to the wreck.

Just a great picture!

How does this one look in black and white?
And by the way, this picture is better than the 3/3 the first critic gave it.

Nice picture. It breathes an atmosphere of the past to me. Maybe a little bit of sepia would enhance that some more. You could give it a try it to see if it really works.
