got the welding shield and it looks like it will work ok. (seems very uniform in density, etc) It's a deep green so some color adjustment might be necessary. I'll give it a try this evening when I head home.

    I am a huge fan!!

nice fans... I was thinking I was more of a 16" box fan.... but those,,, those that you found Ken are really huge. I was exploring a while ago with my wife and we came across this huge fan and candle. I'll attach a picture. On another note, I think I'll order some of the #10 or #11 arc welding shields and see how it works.... I probably won't look through my viewfinder just in case.

  1. I too like the one sans hammer and with the darker fan in the background... It's very nice. On that note...I always wonder why the french call bread pain (or why we call it bread for that matter). It's kind of odd as an american to walk around france and see all these stores with big signs outside them advertising "pain"
  2. Those are some sweet shorts! Metal tripod on top of a 3 story building?? Sounds quite safe! Reminds me of a time I was hiking down Mt. Borah with a 5 iron and a storm came in. I quickly got rid of it once my hair started standing on end. The risk you took was well worth it though. All these lightning shots are fantastic. I love the blue/purple colors.
  3. Whew... yep, plumbing will be interesting... At least I'll get to hang out in Home Depots a lot. Sometimes I feel like I could put my paycheck on direct deposit to Home Depot. I'll be in Dallas, Irving to be exact. I'll hopefully make some trips out to Idaho as well (my wife and kids are going to be there for the summer). So where do you teach Ken?
  4. Business - General management.. It's been wonderful. I love my classes and my classmates are wonderful. I'm coming to Texas this summer to do an internship at a plumbing supply company. Should be pretty fun!
  5. Yep, I've got two day jobs... one is the chicken thing, the other is being a student right now (I'm getting my MBA! so that hopefully I can dress up in my chicken suit only when I want to :)..
